About.

A saying that has made an indelible impression on my approach to song writing is, Where words fail, music speaks by Hans Christian Andersen.

I first began performing original songs during mission visits to the city and county jails, prisons, and emergency shelters. Quickly, I realized that there was a short window of opportunity to touch the hearts, minds, and souls of the listeners. They had to believe that what I was singing about, not only impacted my life, but could also make a difference in theirs. Once they believed the message in the music, they were put in a vulnerable position to hear God speaking. The Holy Spirit enables music to touch places beyond our touching! During these outings, the preacher would preach, but, it was songs that “prepared the way in the wilderness”.

Proverbs 17:17 affirms that “a friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for adversity”.

Not only have these friends been a constant source of encouragement, but, they also have contributed their time, talent, and treasure to enable this project to come to fruition. Every artist should be so fortunate!
